Main research interests

My research focuses on perceptual and cognitive processes as well as underlying neural mechanisms (event-related potentials [ERPs]) involved in face identity processing (i.e. face learning, face matching, and recognition) of faces with varying degrees of familiarity. I am especially interested in the relative contributions of individual facial shape and texture information to face identity processing. Moreover, I am interested in individual differences with respect to face identity processing skills.
